About the Artist

Ashlei "Ashi" Allen is a 15 year old amateur artist whose career began when she decided to pick up a pencil and start drawing at the age of 6. Her dedication to art led her to watching various drawing tutorials and practicing art constantly. During her early childhood, Ashlei grew up watching many cartoons and anime, thus her inspiration came from those shows.

Using her raw talent, Ashlei started drawing portraits of her favorite celebrities. It was at this time she realized she had natural talent at art, and she felt more motivation to improve when she saw the results. Having never attended an art class, Ashlei was proud of the art she created.

As of now, Ashlei diligently practices her art while balancing her school life. As an artist who never went to any art classes, she hopes to inspire those who can relate to her experiences and tell them that art class isn't needed to be an artist.

She hopes her art portfolio can show that with practice, anyone can improve.
